  1. We're providing food & shelter for a mom & her 3 teens after a tree fell on their home, causing major damage last PM.
  2. Vols are assisting a St. Pete family of 9 (including 5 small kids) after a fire at their home this PM. We're providing food & shelter.
  3. Vols are assisting 1 man after his mobile home was destroyed by fire this PM. We're providing food & clothes while he stays with friends.
  4. Vols responded to a fire in Brandon that displaced 2 adults. We're providing them shelter.
  5. Vols are assisting 2 Tampa mothers & their 5 kids after 2 separate fires displaced the families. We're providing food, shelter & clothes.
  6. We're providing 6 adults shelter after they came back from vacation to find their house under water from last wk's floods in Tarpon Springs.
  7. While you slept: vols assisted 3 moms & their kids last PM after 3 separate fires displaced the families in Oldsmar, Dunedin & Lacoochee.
  8. If outside today, remember to take precautions for the heat. Drink lots of water and reapply sunscreen frequently. If able, stay indoors.
  9. Our help didn't stop just because the rain did: today vols are out delivering clean-up kits to those affected by this week's flooding.
  10. We're providing food, clothes & shelter to a couple in Tampa that lost their home to a fire early this AM.
  11. Shelters were closed, but we're still helping families affected by last PMs storms: Today, 2 families need help b/c of roof damage & a fire.
  12. With the rain came floods & with the lightning came 3 house fires in Oldsmar, Clearwater & Valrico. We're now assisting the 9 ppl affected.
  13. Update: We will be closing the shelter at St. Cecilias in Riverview at 10PM as no residents are still requiring shelter.
  14. We have opened a shelter at St. Cecilia’s Episcopal Church in Riverview to assist those affected by flooding in that area.
  15. Update: vols have closed the shelter at St. Marks Presbyterian in Pasco & assisted those affected by the floods.
  16. A shelter is being put on standby in Riverview to assist families affected by flooding in that area.
  17. Vols are gathering in our Disaster Operation Center receiving updates about the response in Pasco, reports of flood damage & trees down.
  18. Response Update: vols opened a shelter for the 300+ families in Pasco evacuating from floods at St. Marks Presbyterian church on SR 52.
  19. Vols in Pasco are opening a shelter to assist those forced to evacuate due to flooding. Our emergency response vehicle is also on the way.
  20. Vols are working with community partners in Pasco to assist a family of 7 and their injured Great Dane after a fire destroyed their home.
