  1. Stuck at work for the next 40 minutes. Probably a bit longer. DAMN IT.
  2. It has not been a good day at work.
  3. @TVWithoutPity Aw, crap, I thought they didn't love cancer! I gotta go get a better birthday gift for my god-niece.
  4. @HollyGoDarkly Same here! We should do this again sometime. :-)
  5. @HollyGoDarkly I'm also making all the PCs regret the fact that they keep forgetting to ask NPC names.
  6. @HollyGoDarkly Sorry, make that "you can learn so much from torture."
  7. @HollyGoDarkly I can't wait to use the line "torture is overrated."
  8. @HollyGoDarkly It'll work very well at the end of this campaign, but not so much right now.
  9. @HollyGoDarkly Seriously! I try to do half of a session with RP and the other half with combat. It usually works.
  10. @HollyGoDarkly Yeah, it's hard because 2/6 are combat oriented, 2/6 are RP oriented, and the remaining 2 are non-committal.
  11. @HollyGoDarkly Thanks! I am making so much of this up as I go along...
  12. @HollyGoDarkly Aw, thanks. It's my first time, too. And I've only been playing D&D since December 2011.
  13. @HollyGoDarkly You would have liked last week's. They fought dopplegangers, & when it died, the PC it was imitating took 1d4 psychic damage.
  14. @HollyGoDarkly Except maybe next week. Where I might introduce a moat-ish thing.
  15. @HollyGoDarkly I was going to do an underwater shark attack but it doesn't really make sense in an underground cavern.
  16. @HollyGoDarkly I allowed a player to jump onto a fire bat over a pool of fire despite the stupidity of the move.
  17. @HollyGoDarkly If they ask to do it, I'll totally allow it.
  18. @HollyGoDarkly Seriously! And I've been DMing this campaign for 2.5 months already.
  19. @HollyGoDarkly And they still haven't quite learned the rule of "The DM is always right"
  20. @HollyGoDarkly See, this is the part of D&D that always gets touchy. Because the PCs will argue one way, and I'll argue another....
