  1. @ChaimMagnum You are in KPH! But you are still going about 80mph don't take pictures at that speed!!! haha
  2. Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!
  3. Love it! RT@NikkiFinke Actors Will Do Anything To Land A Role... http://bit.ly/4CQ5h1
  4. @mikeBnelson Thanks Mike!! Really good to hear.
  5. @ActorwithaChip Last thing then I am back to work-- I realized long ago I could be a lot more honest & helpful off the record. Love actors.
  6. @ActorwithaChip We'll have to agree to disagree on that one. You can unfollow if you'd like. I like following you. Debate is a good thing.
  7. @ActorwithaChip The real question is which agents have the strongest casting relationships & talent roster = more times/successful pitches
  8. @ActorwithaChip Absolutely there are different levels of agencies! Your other question is a bit oversimplified...even the smallest do both.
  9. @ActorwithaChip With your commercial agent? We very rarely do lunches. Clients are always welcome to sit down with us in our office.
  10. Tip: Many agents are happy if a client wants 2 bring in lunch. Can hang for a bit we can still work & chat. Ask ahead.
  11. With rare exceptions, I don't have time to go to lunch with clients. When I do eat lunch, it's at my desk while still working.
  12. This seems obvious, but if you are standing one inch from someone's desk (perhaps your agents) and staring down, it's awkward. Back up. ;)
  13. @jamiefishback if you want vouchers, you should intern there. Didn't hear it from me.
  14. Can't imagine it is. There are better uses of your $$. RT @ heitzie Seriously, is The Players Directory even used anymore?
  15. @mitchellfink yes, but I believe some actors chose to think of all 2nd jobs as soul sucking... that's a recipe for self created misery.
  16. @CarolineTimm you're welcome :)
  17. @MusicLoveSex Just learning as much as you can about the business before you get here will help u hit the ground running
  18. @MusicLoveSex not really. What you CAN do is start reading books on the business of acting from Amazon. Judy Kerr writes a good one.
  19. Finding that support job that u can stand- & being ok you have one- is as important as studying your craft IMO. Be kind 2 urself. (3/3)
  20. HOWEVER, during those 10 years, he could certainly claim he was a working actor. Point: Working actors almost always need 2nd jobs. (2/3)
