  1. Class of 9-11yr olds here today. A kid asked what we believe in. I said we don't believe. Because if you BELIEVE then you don't KNOW.
  2. Welcome home Tim! My bro is back today after 1 year in Oz. We've got him a stripy t-pot, mug & pack of Yorkshire T to get him back into it.

  5. Few weeks ago saw some lovely, big eyed & eared young bullocks in a field. Yesterday saw them being ushered up our lane to certain death.
  6. The Fourfold Assembly: Buddhist monks, nuns, male and female lay-followers.
  7. The Buddha never spoke of the 'Fourfold Sangha', as some seem to think. The correct meaning of 'Catu-Parisa' is 'Fourfold Assembly'.

  18. Maybe tonight's retreat Dhamma talk should be on facing fear. c 6'4" retreatant doesn't want to stay in kuti coz the spiders are too big! :D

  20. Harmony within and without. That's what comes from keeping the precepts.
