  1. @Inkybat I knew you're digital. For some reason it just struck me what you're doing. I used to do it by dumping ink and scratching it off.
  2. @Inkybat are you doing something like a scratch board technique?
  3. @jamiesmart slip the difference. Write one page and eat cheesecake.
  4. “@cracked: 5 Reasons Punisher: War Zone Is an Underrated Masterpiece - bit.ly/JJaGcN” still my favorite marvel movie.
  5. @LincolnGriffin it's all the FTD flowers I've sent you over the years.
  6. @Inkybat not for cartoonists. Deadlines dont take holidays.
  7. New page up! sequentialmatinee.com/cemeteryblues/…
  8. Actually the comic I'm developing would sort of fit in "jug-punk". Good thing no one really follows me or I'd be worried they'd steal it.
  9. Then to make it really stupid we'll build ray guns out of pie pans and fence posts. Bindle sticks will have swords in them.
  10. At "jug-punk" cons, we'll gather in make-shift hobo jungles with beans cooking over barrels of fire, fence painting and fruit pickings.
  11. I think I'm going to start the phrase and movement called "jug-punk". We'll all dress like hobos and build cigar box instruments.
  12. With my beard and weight loss I can now cosplay as Bluto from Popeye, or Mr Edwards from Little House on the Prairie.
  13. @Inkybat Thanks! I like to think of it as moving from Wimpy to Bluto. Probably never make it to Popeye though.
  14. Hurray I'm overweight! I've lost enough to move out of the obese range!
  15. @LincolnGriffin comics too. I think it hit that right blend of 70s serious grit and the coming 80s MTv generation.
  16. But what do I know. Alls I draw is white guys and dead people. :/
  17. There are differences of course, but before you write a woman or minority, first write a character with a personality and goals.
  18. Like in Night of the Living Dead, the guy want written as black, just cast that way. It adds as much weight to the scenes as you bring.
  19. And a good lesson for writing strong women? The Ripley character wasnt written as female. Just a solid character cast with a female.
  20. Watched the original Alien today for the first time in years. Even better than I remember. I'd put it up against any movie today.
