  1. In case I don't twitter next week, Happy Christmas everyone! http://ow.ly/NiDL #in
  2. @Oedipus_Lex Given 1st over, Eng team: Stauss, Collie, Prior, Broad, Swann, Anderson, AN Other x 5?
  3. Made mistake to read @shanegreer anti @KerryMP blog. Long election if this to be std of debate. Evidence? Examples? Assertions not enough.
  4. @Oedipus_Lex Jeez. What would have happened if we'd gone with 5 bowlers?!
  5. @MatthewGingell Agreed wrongful use of ® in tweet may be infringement. Over to you on what ® owner should then do! Cease & desist by tweet?
  6. <Sigh> Having © or ™ in #hashtag (or any IPR) and being able to enforce/get damages for infringement are two entirely different things.
  7. RT @TimesLaw Lawyers growing rich on NHS negligence http://bit.ly/8Trcnn [Standby for howls of protest, but nothing about improving NHS.]
  8. @NeilDenny Like @beej777, don't particularly like either, but touch of humour saves Brookman's campaign from crassness. Lloyd Platt's?!
  9. @idealaw @neildenny Want to put on record that only common thing between me and Lloyd Platt (Pratt?) is being English solicitor. Tacky.
  10. Please can I have my kidneys back? #rugby = man's game! [HT @lawteacher BOOM! http://bit.ly/8jZSy0 ]
  11. @ronggordon You should be telling me! Think answer is in ACAS Code of Practice 2 on www.acas.org.uk Good luck with the course.
  12. @ronggordon Good q. Think employers have to disclose to union names of emp'ee members on request, but need to look up law to check.
  13. @DaveSemple If statute unambiguous, courts must follow. Otherwise have judge-made law. Have to work with Tory 1992 Act, not against.
  14. @DaveSemple Comments of Cox J out of order, but Unite failing to follow 1992 Act = shooting themselves in the foot. Made it too easy for BA.
  15. Free legal advice to trade unions - follow 1992 Act carefully (even if hated) or you'll get injuncted. Could have told you that before BA.
  16. Just read s.227(1) Trade Union and LR(C) Act 1992. Not my field, but not rocket science to work out who should be ballotted. Unite #fail
  17. @JamesFirth Never thought you were a #Trafigura PR droid, just like I am not at all confused about why BBC settled. Time for #libelreform.
  18. @Sobk13 Don't knock DeWalt - your handyman has power tool that "meets the users needs whether they need power, versatility or flexibility".
  19. Last tweet from @Sobk13 over half an hour ago. Hope she and her handyman are alright. ;-)
  20. Read BBC statement: http://bit.ly/6sjRWY [HT @JamesFirth]. Now confused. Did dumping of waste by #Trafigura have no effect? Ok to slop?
