TISCOR_Security

  1. Options Tab and uncheck "Convert the letter "O" to number zero in bar code fields".
  2. Do your barcodes contain the letter "O"?  If so go to System Configuration.
  3. It's under System Configuration, Options tab, "Activate GOTO option on device".
  4. Did you know there is an option to turn on the ability to visit checkpoints without scanning? 
  5. Device directed route users, create the same routes and make them Self directed or Non directed for your supervisors to use. 
  6. Mark unused Officer ID's as inactive rather than trying to delete them.  This will help keep reports from the times the officer was active.
  7. Coming soon, the ability to see which checkpoints have questions assigned to them from the PC side Checkpoint table. 
  8. Use incidents for reasons that officers may deviate from routes, such as "Customer assist".
  9. Use floating checkpoints to log incidents away from any specific checkpoint.
  10. Post the bar code for this checkpoint right next to the device cradle.
  11. Use a fake checkpoint to create a checklist (list of questions) for officers to perform pre or post route. 
  12. Did you know you can setup question sets to skip questions based on the response of the previous question?  It's called a bypass response.
  13. The next MR of TWXT is currently in testing.  Baring any major issues we will release it very shortly.
  14. Questions in TWXT can automatically prompt responses. Go to Setup, System Config, Options tab, check "Perform Questions in Specified Order"
  15. Consistently getting invalid data on PROTRAC Security? Verify the officer is scanning the right checkpoints and checkpoint ID’s are right.
  16. The TWXT Tour Report can show whether a checkpoint is scanned or manually entered. Check Show Scanned Status before pressing Create Report.
