  1. just realized that Word and Open Office don't count words the same. Word says I've got about 200 less words than Open Office!
  2. is running out of scene ideas for my nano story. I've got a good idea for the start of the sequel to The Race, so I think I'll write that.
  3. @KristenH_09 Well, I was at the write-in for 8 hours, so it really wasn't a great total/hour, but I fellowshipped and ate too.
  4. had fun writing a scene where her main character causes all kinds of chaos in a restaurant. <hehehe> That was FUN to write.
  5. wrote a hair over 5000 words last night. Not great for as long as I was there, but that puts me up to just over 29,500.
  6. seriously needs a timeline for my nano story. But it will have to wait until Dec.
  7. @RonEstrada short for National Novel Writing Month. People sign up to "write a novel" (50,000 words) in the month of Nov.
  8. @righter1 Good luck, Liberty! If I make it, I'll be sliding in under the wire on the night of the 30th. LOL
  9. @RonEstrada Unfortunately, people aren't likely to turn away from gov. and bus. until they learn the hard way that they're not trustworthy.
  10. @RonEstrada "sloppy" outlining is the only kind I know, but it works for me since I discover so much of my story as I write.
  11. @KMWeiland True. I guess I should have said "revise" instead of edit--changing wording as well as checking spelling and punctuation.
  12. @RonEstrada It's the first time this has happened with my NaNo novel. Now I know I'm on the right track for a decent story.
  13. @KMWeiland you start editing your e-mails before you send them out.
  14. @creolelad2009 Thank you for the FF!
  15. just loves it when a scene is so exciting that I can't write fast enough to get it out of my head and into the computer.
  16. @righter1 Thank you for the follow Friday, Liberty!
  17. passed 20,000 words last night. Time to start writing more. I've got 2 scenes in my head, so the writing should go quicker...for a while.
  18. What can we learn from REJECTION LETTERS? Find out in my newest blog post: http://bit.ly/VZ9oT
  19. @EileenAstels So what kind of good ideas did he give you?
  20. @JaneLebak OMGh! I just followed the link. That's hilarious!
