  2. Mar 15 marks the last official day of forecasting - plenty of surge this week, but tides are moderate keeping the water levels at bay
  3. Storm wind warnings for Victoria today - but high pressure building and lower tides mean no surge warning.
  4. Server issues resolved- forecast is for strong winds Saturday near high tide for Victoria and Lower Mainland - Tides are not extreme
  5. DFO web server issues are delaying surge updates (Friday morning) - will update when more is known
  6. Timing of the Friday storm is difficult to pin down as per EC - very much a wait and see

  8. The system forecast for Fri and Sat is shifting - likely due to the difficulty in forecasting the strength of the Arctic High.
  9. A significant system has shown up at the far end of the forecast range (Jan 21). It is worth watching, but may change in the next few days.
