  1. @Warlach well look at it this way ... next week just has to be better ... it sure couldn't get any worse than this one has been for you
  2. more work coming in ... I NEED CHOCOLATE
  3. perhaps I should highlight the word "usability" on a page from a dictionary and slip it under the front door of his office
  4. a mobile version of the site where you have to scroll to the right to get the major navigation links - from a 'professional' designer!
  5. major navigation links in tiny white text on a yellow background - minor navigation links in larger white text on a blue background wtf??
  6. an online enquiry form that's 3 pages long! Hello Mr Designer - do you know anything about usability?
  7. @netmeg so if you are a fan of Peter Sellers does that mean you're a fan of The Goons - the radio show - too?
  8. @nerfed saw one yesterday by a local "designer" where the most important link of all was at the very bottom of the page - 1 scroll down
  9. @dr_pete man that silence is scarey :D
  10. @nerfed fully agree with the licence - should need one for design too
  11. @andrewbarnett she's looking now - she may not understand it 'cause she's still pretty much whacked by the anesthetic from yesterday's op
  12. And before I go back to the bad old days of doing an all-nighter methinks I'll head for bed :)
  13. @DavidKeffen don't push the joke thing David @netmeg was being overly polite :)
  14. @DavidKeffen g'day stranger :) - no it's figures for June & it's a clear predictor of what's happening with the local tourism mkt right now
  15. interesting decline in the number of searches for an important local term doesn not auger well for the local tourist industry
  16. @andrewbarnett ... Bribie Island, Caloundra, Montville and Maleny - there are some great museums for kids and adults in Brisbane
  17. @andrewbarnett could be a bit cool for the beach in September have a look for Qld tourism a check out places like Deception Bay ...
  18. @andrewbarnett ... those places you mentioned ... maybe an 90 minutes and there's a toll of about $3 each way that you can't really avoid
  19. @andrewbarnett not at that time of year - but if you're going to be north of Brisbane then you can expect to drive maybe an hour to reach ..
  20. @andrewbarnett sounds like a plan - the weather is usually ok then - days are just a bit glarey & sometimes windy in spring
