  1. FYI, in case you missed it, there are only 2 ways people hurt their neck (accord. to Larry David): car accidents and cunnilingus.
  2. Texans are cursed!
  3. Ray's was pretty solid. Some dishes were too overworked and heavy handed; but, overall I enjoyed the meal.
  4. At Ray's in Fulshear
  5. @manatisalas Not so much that wheat causes the disease but that it exacerbates and that gluten avoidance can be helpful to decrease symptoms
  6. @manatisalas sorry, character limits - dz = disease. Lotta literature about Autism/Aspergers and links to wheat/gluten. No proven studies.
  7. @manatisalas Plenty of people are self-diagnosing gluten intolerance. Plus there is a lot of pseudoscience regarding gluten and other dz.
  8. I had never heard of country capatain until Throwdown yesterday. Why can't Flay do an Chicken Tikka or samosa Throwdown?
  9. Why was there no mention of the creme brulee bread pudding in the Killen's review?
  10. How to win the argument on vaccinations: http://bit.ly/1DkAXN
  11. @imneverfull drove by branch water tavern site about a week ago. It seemed a ways off. They aren't open yet are they?
  12. @Que_Linda Amen! (to the part about people not wanting to hear lame excuses). The economy is a scapegoat for too many flaws.
  13. Lakers catch a break tonight with Budinger out with an ankle sprain.
  14. @alisoncook can you share where you went?
  15. @greensandbeans depends on who you ask. Fortunately for me though, I have managed to hold down a steady job.
  16. @greensandbeans I think people fully understand he is a self-absorbed douche. Misunderstood is too often excuse for a piss poor attitude.
  17. @fussybitch Phoenix chicken is a good dish at Huynh (fried egg certainly helps).
  18. @gdruckman while great cooks are necessary make great restaurants they are not all that is required.
  19. @houston_foodie Straits is a chain so you don't expect it to be that off when main chef is out.
  20. @imneverfull Balthazar meets Houston's? Marrying French brasserie cuisine with crap overpriced chain? I trust Clark will make it work.
