  1. Bah, it seems the stacks of used XBox 360 boxes at EB Games are just to advertise an online deal. I want to buy it at a bricks&mortar store.
  2. On break at work, I made a cover version of John Lennon's dirge-y "Happy Christmas" go away with FANTASTIC MR. FOX soundtrack on CD Walkman.
  3. http://twitpic.com/suwu3 - A 2010 Camaro being snowed on at Myers Chevrolet at Baseline/Merivale in Nepean.
  4. @JohnnyBarnstorm I think of "Downtown" often when I'm at work. Especially Rick Moranis's "Poor all my life" solo.
  5. http://twitpic.com/sskbe - Hey, isn't that car a green Ford Taurus? Did Conan O'Brien make a surprise visit to my street?
  6. http://twitpic.com/sskbe - Winter has arrived in Ottawa. I hope everyone has proper snow tires.
  7. @BrendaKBourne No, it's not that, I have taken detail shots, I just always decide that I'd rather draw the whole car & scene around it.
  8. I'm really looking forward to seeing THE PRINCESS & THE FROG, but UP & FANTASTIC MR. FOX are in my top 3 (plus anime film MAI MAI MIRACLE).
  9. http://bit.ly/5iXVd9 Time's Richard Corliss Top 10 films of 2009: 1) THE PRINCESS & THE FROG 2) UP 3) THE FANTASTIC MR. FOX! Yay for top 3!
  10. @JohnnyBarnstorm Though I know all of the outdoor stuff is going to be in Whistler, so temperature shouldn't be an issue.
  11. @JohnnyBarnstorm Ah, so I guess there's a chance it's not going to be a repeat of Calgary 1988, embarassingly warm for Winter Olympics.
  12. They need to make a 1408 sequel. I know John Cusack burned down the hotel room, but someone still needs to board it up amirite?
  13. Screw the backlash from the anti-moé peeps, K-ON! is still the greatest anime series of 2009! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EXdMoofY2PA
  14. ...and I don't have the slightest inclination to see the fugly Na'vi either in giant screen 3D or in 2D at an old-fashioned 1990's megaplex.
  15. I don't care how technically impressive the CGI in AVATAR will be, I find the designs of the Na'vi really fugly...
  16. The mediocre ending song won't stop me from seeing AVATAR. That honour went to the fugly blue cat people things in the AVATAR trailers.
  17. http://bit.ly/5LOuEm Leona Lewis' "I See You" end theme song from AVATAR. Sounds very generic, which can be a joke if you understand French.
  18. @BrendaKBourne http://twitpic.com/sijw4 - Very nice work. I've considered doing a "detail" drawing or two, but I always end up choosing phot
  19. @JohnnyBarnstorm If Nick wanted to play any Y'S, there's probably dozens of variants of it for various systems on the Wii Virtual Console.
  20. AVATAR's TV spots still don't make it seem like a movie I want to see. I know it's a cliché sentiment, but it does look like a videogame.
