@ We did get a sweet, caramelized flavor out of it when we boiled it. Probably because we had roasted the pumpkin beforehand.

@ Well actually, that is what we did. We did 1 batch with 1/2 in the mash, 1/2 boiled. Batch 2 was all boiled.

@ I disagree. Mashing it just gives you sugar, but really no flavor. Boiling it extracts flavor, and keeps it from drying out.
