  1. Reading about meta analysis with a purring cat on my lap.
  2. @tenner Yippeee! I bet it is nice to be home and settled. A run sounds great (and I'm crazy too!).
  3. Spent the morning writing and then checking in with my directed study students. Now lunch!
  4. @mjross Just try to convince yourself that taking the day off is good for you . @bruhsam and I make rest day a key part of our traning.
  5. @mjross It's good to take time off & give the body time to both recover & improve (we tend to improve more during rest). Enjoy the day off!
  6. As I keep having issues falling asleep & sleeping until my alarm (an hour early today), I'm cutting out caffeine. But mornings are harder.
  7. My watched stopped right before my 5.1 miles run this morn. No idea on time, but it was very humid (87%). Legs tired, but otherwise ok.
  8. Got the swim/bike workout: 500m swim, w/ the 3 stroke combo, & 6.41 steep miles (29:36 min) on the espresso bike (Billy Goat & cool down).
  9. @Dfunkmale Broken bike? Oh no :( Hope ya made it to the date!
  10. It is great when I cross things off my to-do list. It sucks when I can't read what is on my list or don't know what I meant.
  11. Reservations made for Bill & I's anniversary: B&B in the GA Blue mountains, w/ high tea, wine & cheese hour, desserts, jacuzzi, & a lake!
  12. @pallagia & @tenner (& @babyIain?) Congratulations and welcome to the world baby Iain.
  13. @abovenyquist Awesome!
  14. More writing, nearing the end of this draft, and ginger tea this morning. Feeling very draggy but probably that is cause it is Monday.
  15. Did almost 23 miles on the comet, racing a storm back (we moslty won). Averaged 15.5 mph on the way out and 16.5 on the way back.
  16. Home & exhausted. Kinda feel like I did a race today. But I've got a 40 mile bike ride planned & have to leave soon. Maybe food will help?
  17. Both the guys are in. Bill's 10k was at least 1:30 faster than planned and overall right where he wanted to be.
  18. Gabe & Bill are now on the 10k run. Bill did the 42k bike in about 80 min, right on schedule. Big storm coming in, worried about bikers.
  19. Bill & Gabe are out of the water & on their bikes. No idea of Bill's swim time as the start was very staggered. Now mocha, food, & some AC.
  20. Quite amused by the "well used" kick-around-town metal bike locked up agianst the transition zone frence, next to $8k bikes in the zone.
