  1. No wonder fried chicken is @SavorySweetLive's favorite food: lockerz.com/s/213920720
  2. @ChiefHDB Haha, good choice. There's a huge lack of good desserts though.
  3. @ChiefHDB Yeah, have you had it? Seriously good fried fish. Also tried buttermilk channel fried chicken, Bon chovie, bulgogi burger.
  4. Brisket, my one true love. instagr.am/p/LYlg5egb5x/
  5. @ChiefHDB At Lonestar Empire? I just finished my own. The fried fish shack is really good too.
  6. Time to get my chow on. Paging @hungryrabbitNYC! (@ Smorgasburg w/ 168 others) 4sq.com/JIvrZJ
  7. @LadyParmalade yeah, seriously. I think about it sometimes but in the end I'm glad I don't have to worry about that much paperwork.
  8. @tanya_elena you're welcome! I still think of our pasta dinner party fondly.
  9. @tanya_elena homemade pasta party! Perfect for the occasion (mm, carbs) and you do it so well.
  10. (Really, read it) RT @CookingUpComics: Amazing comic about being a freelancer and healthcare. Everyone should see this: kaiserhealthnews.org/Cartoons/2012/…
  11. @suprsamfagan I'd recommend a milk chocolate. Doesn't have to be Valrhona (which I use), but I think a better quality choc is worth it.
  12. @thebravetart @mk11215 Not true. I posed the question as I was considering what chocolate to bring to a backyard s'mores party tonight.
  13. @thebravetart @mk11215 I totally understand marshmallow emergencies. I keep 5 types of cookie dough in my freezer for last minute potlucks.
  14. @districtbelle the PB totally helps balance out every other component. I'm so curious to try it -- maybe at the s'mores part tonight?
  15. @mk11215 @thebravetart I agree about commercial 'mallows being too sweet, but do homemade ones hold up well to the flames?
  16. @districtbelle Omg, that's something I've never thought of. Squish the PB cup btwn graham crackers and a toasted 'mallow? Gotta try that!
  17. @mk11215 interestingly, s'mores actually taste better with milk chocolate since Hershey's is so light. IMO, dark milk chocolates work best.
  18. @chocophilenyc True, I do think it's all or nothing--either improve all the ingredients and elevate it as a whole, or leave it classic.
  19. @veronicachan it's such a good dish, and perfect for the non-spicy eaters and vegetarians. Thanks for turning me onto it!
  20. @SavorySweetLive @MyFoodThoughts @HungryRabbitNYC @kikaeats Next time you're back in town! I'm already excited for Boston in September.
