  7. Remember an accent mark can only mean one thing in Spanish: Stress that syllable! PApa (potato) isn't the same as paPÁ (dad).

  14. I went to the beach with some friends. = Fui (I-went) a (to) la (the) playa (beach) con (with) unas (some) amigas (friends).
  15. In English you make adjectives into adverbs by adding -ly. In Spanish you add -mente. easy : easily = fácil : fácilmente.

  17. When you treat a friend to dinner or coffee you'd say... Te invito = I invite you.
  18. To say "I have to"... Tengo (I-have) que (that) + ( another verb in the infinitive) Tengo que irme (I have to go)
