  1. Sonoma County harvest is over except for a few late harvest vineyards. Those should make exceptional dessert wines from 09.
  2. Spent morning in Sonoma County's Dry Creek Valley sustainable vineyard, hedge rows, biological diversity. Saw first pruned vineyard as well.
  3. Some frost in Sonoma County today. Vineyards should go dormant and then pruning will begin. We are already thinking about vintage 2010!
