  1. @AliciaWag Thanks - feeling better now, just doing the final packing and checking :)
  2. Dreadful night - alarm set for 3:30am to get us up for the 6am flight to Portugal, but I haven't slept a wink owing to an upset tummy!
  3. Reading: "BBC NEWS | UK | Help call for vanishing honeybees" (http://twitthis.com/rcd4b8)
  4. @MarianKemmer lol, we managed to do it all in the last couple of days :) all set for our 4:30am taxi!
  5. @Annhesketh the soaps will have to go - can't get rid of House, Casualty, Holby! :)
  6. @Niknak_Anatine thanks! We will! 9pm, and it's 28C there! Lovely :)
  7. @DoraJarr thanks, yes, this'll be our third visit to the same place - we love it there! :)
  8. Got about 12 hours of stored TV to watch before we go to Portugal tomorrow. Got, er, three hours to watch it in! lol
  9. @timworth1 Thanks Tim, we certainly will! :)
  10. @DoraJarr Algarve - village called Almadena - near Praia da Luz :)
  11. Having a mad day, getting ready to fly to Portugal tomorrow at 6am! Shower time - be back later, chums! :)
  12. @wotshername I believe she did. Perhaps she was being ironic! lol
  13. @Hyper8 @fabfoodie Ridiculous. Aaste of time anyway, according to my doc! Reckons it's nowt to worry about 'but might as well do it anyway'!
  14. Talking to the NHS's Choose & Book service to make an eye appointment. There ARE no appointments available for the foreseeable future. Tch.
  15. @AliciaWag I lost my little pokey thing almost immediately! Turned up days later under the sofa! lol
  16. @AliciaWag The phone doesn't come open - I guess if it did, loads of circuit boards and other magical things would fly out everywhere! lol
  17. @AliciaWag It goes into a tiny slot at the top of the phone. They provide you with a little pokey thing to stick into a hole to release it!
  18. @Toots77 lol, yes, interesting juxtaposition! :)
  19. @timmer81 @vinnipukh Fortunately, I only had to push the SIM card back in its slot - it was about a millimetre out!
  20. @timmer81 Er ... only (hopefully) on the house insurance. I opted not to take out the £10 a month insurance offered me at the O2 shop.
