  1. Heard through the grapevine that the restriction, which would have kept 15-17 year olds from playing in the adult league did not pass.
  2. Working on field requests for the upcoming summer season, hoping we can land more high school turf fields. Who needs grass??
  3. In the last AASA board meeting we explored the idea of running a 7v7 small-sided outdoor tournament in the last week of May, or early June.
  4. Just posted 2/17 blog. Spring session registration information is available on the website: www.socceralaska.com
  5. Paying my indoor tabs from the Dome and AT&T Sports center. Ugh!!
  6. Trying to determine why our tournaments are so poorly attended. Can't get teams to participate.
  7. Working with our web designer to incorporate Twitter and the Soccer Alaska blog into our site.
  8. Blog is ready to link to website. Also want to link to USASA promo video and the one for the Veteran's Cup.

  12. Reviewing a red card issued last week. The offense (persistent infringement) calls for a caution, yet the referee ejected the player.
  13. We're reviewing a red card given last week. The infraction (persistent infringement) called for a caution, but the player was ejected.
  14. The Peanut Farm Team is not on the standings page, but are shown on the schedule - WEIRD! Checking with Nick to see what's what.
  15. Ironing out last nights double booking at the dome. We will have reschedules taken care of next week.
