  1. Happy Turkey day, everyone. Inside we'll celebrate with the traditional turkey. Outside the alpacas will get carrots.
  2. I've been making Snuggly Toes like mad. And spinning Antonio Roberto's fiber. Have so much fun with alpaca fiber these days.
  3. Hermione (baby alpaca) needs bottle feeding. Her mom just doesn't have enough weight on her. And Mom snugs her nose at extra food. Goof.
  4. Prince Charming came into my life last night....he's about 2 years old and covered in fuzzy, white fleece....boarding alpaca.
  5. Thank goodness the work day is winding down....my eyes are going googly.

  15. A beautiful load of oak firewood is stacked in the back yard.
  16. Farmer's markets are over the for year. Now to look for holiday shows.
  17. Early winter means more firewood is necessary. Off to cut oak today.
  18. The hay quest is on. Why don't my summer plans for hay ever work out in the fall?
  19. Toast is ready. Topped with local honey and homemade plum jam (each on one piece). Yum.
  20. After a few attempts, 4 tools, and some goat wrestling I managed to cut off the tip of Kokopelli's horn. It was growing into his head. Ick.
