  1. RT @ClintonKeith: New blog post on extra reasons to do TDD in game development http://bit.ly/24krNE --Confirms my own experiences too!
  2. RT @MarkusN: Price for "Space Master" will go up to $1.99 in a few hours
  3. Right before I went to bed I realized there was a better way to architect the code I'm working on now. Hard to sleep thinking of that! :-b
  4. Oh wow, I have the Retweet beta enabled on the Twitter web page. Quick, someone say something worth RTing so I can try it :-)
  5. @mysterycoconut Hahaha... How far are you in Fallout 3? I only made it to Megaton and poked around a bit
  6. @mysterycoconut It's my past haunting me down. I used to like OO and it created such a mess, even with the best intentions!
  7. @nonchaotic Good point. I'll try to write about it (once Fallout 3 is not taking over my life :-)
  8. Shutting down all forms of distraction to power through this chunk of code. I want to finish tonight and still have time to play Fallout 3!
  9. @MarkusN @wondroushippo @portablegamer Thanks for the RTs guys!
  10. Today is your last chance to save $200 on my next iPhone OpenGL class http://bit.ly/3q5yiz
  11. @CocoaGeek Laugh not! unzFile was a typedef for pvoid, which was a typedef for void*. Stuff like that drives me batty!
  12. @madgarden My beef with with 3rd party code that tries to solve all the problems in the world for everyone and solves none instead.
  13. @madgarden Agreed. That's why I never design code anymore to be reusable, just to solve whatever I need to do.
  14. @aras_p I like that, but I think that 95% is very optimistic (in 3rd party software APIs). Maybe 99.5%? :-)
  15. Software reuse is mostly a fail. I usually only want 10% of the code but the other 90% wastes time and gets in the way later
  16. @kamidphish Unnecessary abstraction is the root of all evil! :-b
  17. And I'm bitching about a nice, low-level, C-based API. Don't even get me started on OO or frameworks. Don't!
  18. @dgregryc No worries. I did the *exact* same thing and went WTF? :-b
  19. Every day I can stand less working with third party APIs. minizip decided to typedef void* as unzFile. Sigh. WHY????? KISS!
  20. @dgregryc No, it uses Firefox. Google Bookmarks show up under Documents. You may be clicking on Webpage History instead
