  1. My jet-set life: perfect weather for the annual patent attorney lunch at the Wharf restaurant. Saw the lovely Kate Fitzpatrick. Drunk now.
  2. Vale Marslando Calrisian, the nicest man in radio. #GetThis
  3. RT @LEIGHSALES: For you other Tony Martin stalkers out there, he's taken the twitter leap. I recommend you follow @scrivenersfancy
  4. I am greatly enjoying the "Rum Doings" podcast, the most recent episode of which is a up at http://bit.ly/6BuZGR or on iTunes.
  5. "How short?" "Short" she said without looking up from her newspaper. And that, my friends, is how my poor son got a shaolin-style buzz cut.
  6. @kahlerisms Hi Chris, if you're referring to the drooping blue plants, that's just how they grow.
  7. Oppressively hot, humid and grey in Sydney. A short shower evaporated immediately, leaving dust ringlets on the car windscreen.
  8. Group lunch at the Little Snail in Darling Harbour was spot on. House white of a quantity and quality sufficient to make afternoon slow.
  9. A throng of super-sized fashion unfortunates have parked their belly wheels at the Opera House concourse. The bogan idol final?
  10. Australian Chamber Orchesta plays Beethoven at the Opera House. Brilliant recital, audience brought their swine flu and TB. Jerks
  11. Listening for the very first time to "Bookends" by Simon & Garfunkel. Silly me for waiting 41 years - it's utterly wonderful.
  12. My High School 30th reunion was a blast. Hoarse from talking, my back's sore and other old bits of me are also complaining, but worth it.
  13. Over 40 years Chatswood has mutated from the stifling middle class doldrums to an over-populated, over-priced over-developed purgatory.
  14. Wife bargain hunting for presents for Chinese rellies, the boy watching video and me with heated bean extract in Chatswood.
  15. @kahlerisms That's slick! Good look!
  16. Polishing up my zimmer frame for the 30 year reunion of Turramurra High, class of '79.
  17. @stilgherrian Perhaps alcohol-fuelled journalistic bonkage opportunities?
  18. Listening to 'Blood' by The Middle East. Not gruesome, as the name suggests, but delicate like a flower. Just lovely.
  19. @extralife Randy & Scott are "taking a bi" this week. I do not think it means what you think it means.
  20. Support Movember this year! Poignant to listen to a "Get This" podcast with the greatly missed Richard Marsland talking about Paul Hester.
