  1. @sue_bailey yes I was aiming for 2:15 so I was well pleased. I feel pretty good although may hit me tomorrow.
  2. Just spent the weekend in La Rochelle. Very cool coastal town in France. Ate lots of chocolate, ran a half marathon & enjoyed great weather.
  3. @king_of_tonga it was you that recommended that Marukami book on running wasn’t it? Recently read it. Excellent.
  4. First ever half marathon completed today in 2:05. Beautiful course along the Atlantic coast. instagr.am/p/La94OTkoct/
  5. Love this sign we saw last night here in La Rochelle instagr.am/p/LZtHCIkodf/
  6. @polskey we’ll be there briefly in August for a family do. Olympics is great. And we’ve got Wimbledon & European cup this summer.
  7. @polskey we’re in France for 6 months. Will be heading back to Cambodia in October.
  8. @vickiehelson haha! Maybe it would be a record therefore earning me more press attention & cash!
  9. @polskey well done Pol. Seems like a fab weekend. I’ve been super crap with blogging recently. :-(
  10. …you only get $55k for winning the London marathon although this year the Kenyan got a $100k bonus for finishing in under 2hrs 5mins.
  11. Just heard that the German bloke Federer’s playing against at Roland Garros right now (1st round) gets $23k for losing. I could do that.
  12. @hambleman haha, yes probably.
  13. @hambleman no, twitter’s a bit like taking loads of nose at a party full of other people in a similar state.
  14. @hambleman oops, you know what I mean though.
  15. @hambleman …luckily even if you have 1200 followers people on twitter very rarely actually read other people’s tweets!
  16. @hambleman oh yeah; well corrected. :-)
  17. Feel like I haven’t seen a tv ad in years. Nice to hear an old Temple Tudor song being used in a Halfords ad.
  18. First real time since I’ve been in Europe that I’ve turned on the telly. Watching French Open on ITV4 while ‘working’.
  19. @LTO_cambodia yeah that’s already happening!
