  1. Ooohh, new issue of Fighting Arts Magazine is out today. Best magazine available on traditional Okinawan martial arts. Going to be good!
  2. After our nakedness, the next effect of our fall was our addiction to excuses. We do not like to admit failure, mistakes, or poor choices.
  3. It is a resource for finding & adapting what a smaller grouping of kata for daily practice which would be a foundation for practical defense
  4. ShitoRyu-Kenwa Mabuni's genius was beyond simply Karate as combat, but as an art so complex as to produce 64 kata, not a practical tool, yet

  15. I am so enjoying not being at the BGCT. It is a cool day, bike is running well, my forms are better than ever, yet there's still sadness.

  17. It is interesting not being at the convention. The live feed was good but we are years behind in how we could have used technology.
  18. Glad that Ed Jackson was elected a first VP. I still doubt there will be any real change at the BGCT but one can hope. Samurai is now GONE.
  19. Paul's self confession of weakness & need is frightening. It reminds us of us. The us which needs the embrace of a forgiving loving God.
  20. Mondays are opportunities for putting Sunday's gifts into practice. The gifts we need are dispensed if we understand what they are.
