  1. Wonderful time with Sarah last night. Grandbaby Trinity staying another night. Took her for walk in the garden, threw a fit when walk ended.

  3. Granddaughter has been here for several days visiting grandma and grandpa. She's taking a nap now.
  4. Homemade macaroni in dehydrator drying. Fresh made loaf of bread on top of oven. Cold here tonight, ready to hit the sack early.
  5. A reporter from the Chronicle-Tribune just called to interview me for NaNoWriMo. Local people, please keep a watch for the story.
  6. Think I will work on edits for "101 Organic Garden Tips." It's just not going to happen on its own. LOL!
  7. Pumping up the NaNoWriMo word count today. To date, I have submitted 9,012 words! Woo hoo!
  8. Collected angora from Gizmo the rabbit tonight. Have enough to start carding with other fiber. Think I will weave on the loom tonight.

  10. Kitchen is going to be Cajun Red, Empire Gold and Sheraton Sage - true Victorian colors. I love the Cajun Red walls already!
  11. Painting the kitchen. It was princess pink. Now it is going to be cajun red! Spicy to say the least!
  12. Fried chicken, mashed potatoes, gravy, coleslaw & biscuits for supper tonight - all from scratch. Can't wait to eat, smells so good!
  13. Bottled liquid stevia & tinctures of cestrum nocturnum, lemon verbena. Breakfast is homemade Vermont Maple Oat Scones with rose petal jelly.
  14. Swiss steak in the oven. Making mashed potatoes, gravy and home canned green beans to go with it. Sorting old magazines now.

  18. Making progress on greenhouse today! Dehydrating bananas - sale at Marsh, 25 cents a pound! Today only! Then dehydrate carrots, beef jerky!
  19. Cold, rainy - but dad insisted on working on greenhouse. I am froze stiff. Made cinnamon extract. Pears, tomatoes, bananas dehydrating.
  20. Another cold, rainy day here in Indiana. I have a slight cold. Wish rain would stop so I could harvest more herbs - .49 inches in 2 days!
