  1. Worked with a delightful group of coaches from Council Bluffs, Iowa today. I can't wait to see them again at TJ and AL next time!
  2. My last Tweet was three months ago? Geez, I need to upload from my phone, but Facebook takes some of my time away from the Twitter!
  3. Wow. That was fast!
  4. @jimknight99 Please send it to me, Boss!
  5. @ddunekack Thanks, Boss! I am so very glad you were there this morning to save me from my lack of technological ability!
  6. Thinking about Thinking Devices and how I hope to see growth in the Costa Level 3 questions on the post-test!
  7. @T_SKYLES We really have to stop meeting like this BFF! Miss you terribly. We'll talk this weekend. When are you coming home like forever?
  8. LivingSocial's PickYour5: "" http://tinyurl.com/djlgzn
  9. Snow coming down in Kansas this morning. Some blizzard conditions. Reminds me of Robert Frost.."and miles to go before I sleep."
  10. @T_SKYLES Do you think you could Facebook sometime? I am missing you, friend!
  11. Meeting with teachers is the highlight of my day. Making data driven decisions is such a powerful way to give them professional autonomy!
  12. @jimknight99 I find the young boy who went to the dentist and is still feeling loopy from being put under quite humorous!
  13. Teaching the Summarizing strategy with 9th graders today. Too much fun! We coaches are so lucky to get all the best parts of teaching!
  14. Sitting in a workshop on communication given by my boss, Jim Knight. Great group of ele. coaches!
  15. Is there anything better than former students telling you what a difference you made in their lives? Happened tonight. Absolutely wonderful!
  16. Having a terrific discussion with two colleagues about metaphorical and mechanical learning. Teachers should get to do this more often!
  17. Teachers have been worried because of a state shortfall. The district had a task force that looked into expenditures and possible cuts.
  18. @Ellsbeth Our district has promised no reduction in force (RIF), but they did buy out some top admin who had enough points to retire.
  19. @jimknight99 Boss, I feel your pain! I'm sure they were much more engaged than you think! They must've been multi-tasking. 8-)
  20. @ahhklaassen That's right! We were talking about telementoring that day. Yep, it's the same book the teacher is using for her project.
