  5. The aim is to craft a story within the three acts that makes the structure disappear. The good guys gonna win-but the story hides it for us!

  7. You leave the biggest (life & death) issue to last... THAT one ends the movie, IS THE CLIMAX tells us all will be well or NOT for our hero.

  9. The 1st Act is the SET UP; the 2nd Act is COMPLICATIONS - the 3rd Act is RESOLUTION. All of the issues raised in the 2nd Act must go away!

  11. IF our heroine can win out over unthinkable odds in her life - maybe we can too. We leave the theatre with HOPE-and that is no small thing!
