  1. @SJJM4EVER Best way to get known: Write an extremely well written / highly marketable screenplay. Pitch it to small producers. U can do it.
  2. @Adamjam99 Easiest way to get started: Go to http://www.simplyscripts.com and download your favorite script. Read it. Then write a scene.

  5. @bad_company My advice: Give yourself permission to do poor writing. It will free you up to create. Allow brillance to emerge naturally.
  6. @media1visions You can still make revisions after registering with WGA. Keep improving the script until it is the best it can be.
  7. @K_Sull Yes, I use Movie Magic and Final Draft. Both save time and take care of formatting so you can take care of writing a great story.

  12. Tip 73: Knowing the purpose of the cliche scene, keep brainstorming until you find the most interesting and "unique" expression.
  13. Tip 72: On a cliche scene, discover your purpose, then brainstorm OTHER ways to fulfill that purpose.
  14. Tip 71: Go through your script and root out every possible cliche scene or character. Then use Tip 72 on them.
  15. Tip 70: Producers are looking for fresh screenwriting. That means something we haven't seen or a twist on the familiar. No "cliches."
