@photo_john I agree and am going to make test prints this weekend. @bobodante grain not optional just a by-product of high ISO.
| Here's another story I wrote for JPG Magazine - 10 Tips for Avian (bird) Photographers. http://www.jpgmag.com/stori... |
| Putting the finishing touches on our new show unboxedsessions. We've got raw footage for about 10 shows already. Launch possible Friday. |
| @anonymoushowler all you wouldn't want my taxes @jameslagden not yet but soon @The_BigBlueCat no but renders noise as if it were grain. |
| As per suggestions from @alexlindsay and others, we'll scale down some of the 21MP shots to 12MP to match D3 for comparison. |
| Canon 1DS MKIII does not produce NOISE. It produces grain, like film. I am still trying to figure out how I feel about that. I think I like! |
| Downloaded first shots from 1DS MKIII, impressive 1600 ISO shots but not quite as nice as D3. Grain instead of noise. Different like film. |
| @jf181 sorry I am getting emails like that from folks about stuff I've never heard of - we can only put so many answers in. |
| Sorry my earlier tweet said I got a Canon 1D MK III it should have read 1DS MKIII - about a $3500 difference in the wrong direction. |
| Canon EOS 1D MKIII just arrived. Charging the battery. Will shoot some test shots at the Giants game tonight. |
| @ebfoxbat Alex prefers we use Delicious for that with the tag TWIPIDEAS. Thanks. |
| @jomgoldstein thanks I agree. @evantravers thanks @jstevewhite yes that's really a tundra wolf. |
| @thomashawk thanks for posting the link. I am sure everyone would like to see more of the Adams stuff. Good job. |
| Just finished a photo essay for JPG Magazine on wolves. http://www.jpgmag.com/stori... - If you like it please vote for it. Thanks. |
| Working up tutorials for TWIP on Aperture. Also planning some articles and video casts on lighting. |
| Just flew back from Seattle to SFO on Virgin America. Love the service and price. Now prepping for the week's shows. |
| Just flew to Seattle first class = 55 inches leg room. Will be offline for the weekend. |
| Just finished recording TWIP with @alexlindsay, @ronbrinkmann and @fvjohnson. Rich Harrington was our guest, author of new Aperture book. |
| @ericxoxp sure I love the guy but not all his photos. |
| @Cadco thanks that's perfect for TWIP. Who knew Ansel had a blog? |
