@ If the ai files are from something newer than AI 8 it should work fine with 0.47

If you dl Inkscape from an unofficial source, you are risking that it may be modified or damaged in some way. Just a heads up for safety.

Tried Chrome OS today in a VM... unsurprisingly, it felt like the Chrome browser with tabs open for Gmail & Calendar. ;) (not my cup of tea)
