  8. is very excited about starting at Highgate next Wednesday, he thought he would like having an empty diary for a month... he doesn't much!
  9. is wanting to let you all know if you buy the Times this week you get We Have Always Lived in the Castle by Shirley Jackson for free!!
  10. is very excited that Susan Hill is up for having tea, cakes and a good natter with him!
  11. thanks to everyone who recommended The Virago Book of Ghost Stories, its no longer in my library but on my bedside table!
  12. would like to thank everyone who suggested The Yellow Wallpaper to read just got it at the library!
  13. finally has Howards End is on the Landing and is debating if he should cancel all social engaements or save it till the weekend!
  14. after Highgate and Niffenegger book launch last night is now at Wimbledon library for Kamila Shamsie!
  15. is utterly shattered after an 15 hour charity day yesterday.
  16. is aware no sensation blogs up yet, but something specials coming after see Gyles Brandreth discussing Oscar Wilde at Bookfest!
  17. is off down into the Kensal catacombs and then off in search of Wilkie's grave!
  18. has just taken over 50 books to a charity shop... not bereft, feel much better! Still more to go!
  19. is looking forward to book group tonight!
  20. was very good and only bought on Patricia Wentworth when they had loads for 20p each! Very well done him!
