  1. At Museum of Flight. Congratulations to Joe Sutter and his team for giving us 40 years of safe flight on the 747!
  2. Wonderful night at University House. Rev. Bloom and I definitely agree on Nickelsville.These people are our neighbors who live safely.
  3. Heading over to see friends in Nickelsville. Their one year anniversary is today; I am impressed by the safe community they have created.
  4. Smoking salmon with some of my favorite Ballardites for the Festival at Fishermen's Terminal. It goes til dusk and is well worth the trip.
  5. Phone banked at ERW for R-71. Many people still undecided. Much work is needed. Then on to Rainier Beach Comm Ctr for street dancing!
  6. Blockwatch at Rainier Beach Presbyterian Church. Lt. Koutsky encouraged all who hear gunshots to call 911 and share details. Save lives.
  7. On my way to Seattle Int'l District Rotary Club’s 25th anniversary. Thanks to those visionary men who let me and other women into the club!
  8. Jam packed day. GSBA forum; The Stranger interview; Columbia City Farmers Market; Highland Park Neighborhood discussion. What a city!
  9. Returned from Capitol Hill Farmers' Market. People are SO ready to move Seattle Forward. Yes on R-71. Yes on Waterfront. YES - Bagshaw!
  10. Love that Capitol Hill Community Council! Preserving their neighborhood character, looking forward for amenities while ST builds.
  11. Met with Delridge neighbors. Their Neighborhood Plan is a model of success; Youngstown. Longfellow Creek Preserved. Diversity strengthened.
  12. Met with neighbors in Broad View. We all want to move forward to end the gridlock and end the bickering. We are one city, united!
  13. Neighborhood forums all week. Wedgwood, Meadowbrook, Downtown. We are ONE city where we celebrate and support ALL our neighborhoods. Unity.
  14. Attended the Labor Day picnic at Woodland Park with my friends from MLKC Labor Council, Building Trades, Plumbers and Pipe Fitters and more!
  15. Met w/ James Donaldson to coordinate efforts by neighbors, labor, business, teachers to support and mentor kids in local schools.
  16. Ballard and Bumbershoot! Thanks to Karen Gates Hildt, Richard Stephenson, Annie and Toni for your leadership at Seattle Center today.
  17. Spent time on Linden near Bitter Lake with Dale, Richard, Will, and other generous neighbors who clean up their streets monthly. Thank you!
  18. A great day at the Rainier Community Parade, Duwamish River event at South Park, and meeting the lovely people at SCCF. Ballard tomorrow!
  19. Returned from the Lambda Legal garden party. This is one of our favorite events of the summer; Brad and I look forward to it every year.
  20. Met with Washington Conservation Voters interns along the waterfront. We have such a legacy opportunity to create our Waterfront for All!
