@ aww! We took my step-kid to grocery shop for Thanksgiving donations. She wanted to donate all of her allowance to get more food.

@ That's a good idea! It's always so hard to shop for people who already have everything they need/want. Why waste the money?

@ That's the plan! We have friends in CO, I always see kids on the slopes. I want my kid to get a chance to learn & love skiing :)

@ we have a rule: we donate as much to orphanages as spend on kids. So $100 in toys = $100 in donations. Step-kid helps toy shop

@ I've never been night skiing... are there flood lights, or is it just by the moon/stars? Either way, sounds neat & dangerous :)

@ I don't disagree with studying and getting better jobs, but there's still no (good) reason to be open on major holidays, imho

@ Bah. I'm not surprised but it's ridiculous. They can afford to close doors for holidays. I refuse to shop on T-Day regardless sales

Just found out Old Navy is open on Thanksgiving. Now I'm thinking of boycotting. Geez, let those poor retail folks have the day off.
