  1. @boxwatcher The big war between light and dark started in the first book but every book up until the end felt like a restart.
  2. @boxwatcher The middle books and films are the ones that were desperately in need of condensing.
  3. @boxwatcher Actually, I think breaking the last into 2 movies is the way to go. There's still a lot of ground to cover.
  4. @boxwatcher The Harry Potter films have been enjoyable but none of them have been great film making.
  5. @boxwatcher This one moved along but as the 6th chapter of a larger story, it spun its wheels too much.
  6. @boxwatcher ... and to be fair, the books suffered the same thing. Too much exposition dragged out over 7 books.
  7. @boxwatcher re: Harry Potter Liked it in spite of itself. The whole series needed to be done in 4-5 movies at most.
  8. 1/3 of the lost podcast put together. I may actually be able to get this episode out this week.
  9. Now that I've got a widescreen TV, I'm realizing just how many DVDs I have that aren't true widescreen.
  10. I enjoy the Harry Potter movies and books but it needed to be 2-3 installments shorter.
  11. @danfaust Someone's watching Leverage.
  12. Going to see Harry Potter today.
  13. Jus read @jefflemire 's The Nobody. Fascinated with the way he moves around the reader's pov on the page.
  14. Just read Spider-Man Election Day. Amazing is still a pretty fun title.
  15. @DustinChristian Glad to hear everything went well. That's great news.
  16. You know the way to get me to take your criticism seriously, use "meh" as a one word critique. That's just lazy and cheap.
  17. Second quick Blackest Night #1 thought-- I love the way Ivan Reis draws the Flash here and in Blackest Night #0. Always in movement.
  18. Another quick thought on Blackest Night #1-- took DC long enough to jump on the zombie bandwagon, didn't it? :)
  19. @BookGnome Agree about JSA vs KOBRA. My favorite JSA story in a long time.
  20. @NewMutant No, I just got the the new Guardians of the Galaxy hardcover that collected her first appearance. I've always loved that issue.
