  1. Adding rel="nofollow" to our search forms to stop Googlebot submitting test data and ramping up our bandwidth by over 400MB per month!
  2. @pezholio nice - over-escaped quotes? http://bit.ly/EzqEg
  3. @carlhaggerty I understand developing mobile friendly sites, but are iphone apps too niche/elite for localgov audience? Not very inclusive.
  4. @pezholio Have you tried a HTTP proxy, like Fiddler, and disable HTTP header caching?
  5. @pezholio Supplier?! Development team here, we roll our own. Wish someone would ask us to develop it further though
  6. @pezholio Thought of delegating JS compatibility to JQuery?
  7. @helenewilliams they should conform to the standard Gov guidelines state at the time- atm thats WCAG1 pending a review http://is.gd/C1Ez
  8. @martinxo In house developments are held to such (justified) scrutiny, ridiculous that it isn't the case with suppliers
  9. @martinxo Socitm looking at that, needs more pressure http://twitter.com/helenewi...
  10. @anomis66 No doubt! At least now we have Twitter to log such events
  11. @anomis66 Thanks, you know how to make a guy feel old! Late 80's, please! Donnington '92 man, you had to be there :)
  12. New release of Iron Chrome browser (no google!) "speed and stability are significant better"! For shame, IE & FF! http://is.gd/qUwI
  13. Re POST, does innovative Technology wait for People, Objectives, or Strategy? #bcbrum09
  14. "Suppliers of web-enabled back-end system are bad at accessibility." Why can't SOCITM help hold them to account, name and shame style?
  15. @pezholio Welcome to the dark side ;) Seriously, its not that bad
  16. Looking at WolframAlpha I realise localgov site searches should give answers, not results. Looking at you @directgov ;)
  17. @pezholio can someone tell SOCITM that! Our Where I Live didn't have a map, never needed it, but still they criticised the lack of map
  18. @pezholio Planners, bless - i think they're also the original source of the phrase "its how we've always done it"
  19. @peterolding unfortunately not - don't seem to be in the loop that knows of such events. But the coffee here seems much better!
  20. @martinxo how about a backhanded compliment instead? ;)
