  1. Just made (and devoured) rawa dosa with spiced potato filling. So satisfying! Michael, however, would have preferred leftover turkey. Again.
  2. @afreshspace Blame is unputdownable. Really wonderful.
  3. Stayed up most of the night reading MIchelle Huneven's new book, Blame. One of the great pleasures of not having to go to work....
  4. Forgot how much I like quiche. For some reason I made one tonight, with salad. It was just what I wanted to eat after all that turkey, etc.
  5. Sunshine! Balmy weather. Bacon, eggs, coffee, toast, strawberry jam from Blackberry Farm, fresh oj. And now the guests begin to depart...
  6. @EbethSov Truly serious, that. Oddly, the clue that stumped our crowd was parsley, sage, rosemary and thyme. Time threw everyone off.
  7. Guests are (slowly) departing. We're now down to 8 of us. Heading off to Charades party with lemon bars, Whoopie pies, p,b&j bars too.

  9. Pumpkin and apple cranberry pies just went in. On to jambalaya, for hungry early arrivals. We're 9 now, will be 25 before day's end....
  10. On to the pecan pies. And while I was making the cranberry sauce, had a last-minute desire for cranberry crostata. Made pasta frolla.
  11. Up early. Clouds lying in the valley.Wild turkey parade. Cutting butter into flour for pies. Cooking cranberries. Toasting bread 4 stuffing.
