  4. Attended Royal British Legion Branch Dinner to thank Collectors. £38000 was raised by the Branch which was a record. Well done collectors.

  7. Tues 24th Cheque event went very well. Brenda Burgess, Mayor of Crawley was presented with Honorary Membership of our Club for all her help
  8. Tonight we will be presenting cheques to Brambles Respite Care Centre, St Catherine's Hospice & Crawley Borough Council (Crawley Open House)
  9. Update, 21st Nov. Attended Friends of Crawley Hospital Dinner Dance. Over £3000 raised for new equipment. Well done all

  15. Plans under way to organise an event to hand over cheques to three local charities from recent fund raising activities

  18. Update 29th Sep. 3 visitors including Derek Hopkins from Rotary Club of Cuckfield & Lindfield. All were welcomed in our usual manner.

  20. VISITOR COMMENT. Your meeting was quite unlike any other Rotary meeting I have ever been to in my 20 years, but I found it most refreshing.
