Katz's Deli for a late lunch - pastrami on rye with spicey mustard. Well, minus the rye for me. Set the rye aside and ate it with a fork.

The new American Wing of the Met is done well. Lots of good sculpture and even a FLW room w/furniture.

I could spend hours in Strands Bookstore. Anthem, The Fountainhead, and Atlas Shrugged were all on Strand's 80 display. Yeah!

The Village is a great place to walk around at night. NIce neigborhood. Next time in NYC we'll stay there instead of mid-town.

Hearth in the East Village was good. Had sweetbreads for the first time. Not bad. Splurged on white choc. mousse. Wow was it ever too sweet.

The Union Square Farmer's Market was awesome. Wished we had all this in KC - locally grown pork, chicken, beef, bison, raw cheeses

Going to eat at Hearth later here in NYC. They buy their food from Union Square Farmer's Market. Yummy fresh locally grown food!

Saw the Letterman show. Dave seemed not so cranky and Adam Sandler was actually funny. The Late Show band is great!

Enjoying a week inNYC. Weather is nice-not too hot and food everywhere. No problem staying paleo so far. Lots of tempting sweets though.
