  1. @SplinteredBoard Bummer. It's the latest episode of the Real Deal Cnet podcast at http://realdeal.cnet.com
  2. @SplinteredBoard LOL I keep forgetting that's there, my twitter client doesn't show my avatar in any obvious way.
  3. Nice list of basic software to load on a new machine http://icio.us/ctn5m3
  4. @SplinteredBoard I'd be on board with that. Left a comment saying so.
  5. @Kaytrim Not up on .Net much, I'm a retail systems programmer. We're always 10 years behind in retail. I still support DOS, for instance. :)
  6. @Kaytrim Almost makes me wish I were in Iowa. That's a decent list of sessions there.
  7. Just started listening to @scottsigler's Earthcore via podcast last night on the way home. I'm hooked!
  8. Congrats to the Yankees on their purchase of another championship. Boooooo.
  9. AAA has decided my roof needs to be replaced based on a drive-by "inspection" or they'll cancel my policy. Gonna dispute this, I think.
  10. I would NEVER use Norton to protect my chicken from Dokken.
  11. Help defeat the anti net neutrality legislation in congress: http://www.savetheinternet....
  12. @ryanbritton Worse than that, they've devalued the PC brand. Now Dewalt is their high-end brand, PC is mid-level. Disappointed.
  13. Black & Decker seems to be taking over the world: http://bit.ly/cEs5A
  14. @SplinteredBoard I'm no woodturner, so take this with a grain of salt... but what could that do that turning chisels couldn't?
  15. @MBWPodcast I am not at the moment, but that's due to laziness :) So I can't pass judgment on it yet.
  16. @SplinteredBoard I'm *always* loving the barcode. Spent 20+ years in retail point of sale software dev. And I forgot to change it back. :P
  17. @SplinteredBoard That would work well I think. Having the option is the important thing for me.
  18. @SplinteredBoard Weird, too, because WWing lends itself far more to video than audio. Go figure.
  19. @SplinteredBoard That's the problem for me too. Can't multitask with video without losing one thing or the other.
  20. @SplinteredBoard Be careful with video... I observed recently, and got agreement, that video is viewed much less than audio is heard.
