  1. Wrapping up the month of May and it looks like it will be the 3rd warmest on record for #ROC. But say goodbye to the heat the next few days
  2. Don't bother to water the grass or plants in ROC... Plenty of rain expected the next few days.
  3. What a difference a few days makes in ROC weather... Temps falling since Sunday 92°, Monday 89, Tuesday 75, and today 64.
  4. NWS is reporting Seneca County t-storm was microburst / straight-line winds. Estimated speed of 60-80 mph with max of 90 mph.
  5. Dew point has dropped by more than 15° (currently 49°) compared to yesterday at this time. Dry, dry, dry in ROC !

  7. NWS in Binghamton will do a survey of the damage that occurred in Seneca Falls earlier today. Results should be in by tomorrow evening.
  8. More reports of tree and wire damage in Springwater and Macedon Center.
  9. Severe t-storm watch has been discontinued for all of WNY. The only exception is Yates County where watch continues until 7 PM.
  10. Severe storms has moved east into Eastern Finger Lakes. Still some thunder and moderate rain for us, but threat is over!
  11. Hearing report of tornado-like damage (not confirmed) that may have touched down south of Canandaigua & traveled East across the lakes.
  12. Weather Service reporting some trees and power lines down near Farmington, Ontario during the last hour.
  13. Again, main emphasis on these storms will be east of Genesee Valley. This area has greatest potential for damage in the next 2 hrs.
  14. Now seeing video from Bristol of marble size hail. Torrential rain and frequent lightning. Storms will be severe south & east of ROC.
