  1. @flyingjenny Aren't we all (kids)? Next time I see you (STS-130?) I'll bring some of the Snoopy stickers for you.
  2. @CatherineQ Hah! Some day you need to come to Houston and tour the "museum". :)
  3. @flyingjenny Had I known, I would have given you a few at the KSC autograph show. I had some with me to give to kids.
  4. @txflygirl They are safety stickers issued by JSC back in 1972-1973 between Apollo 17 and Skylab. Next time I see you, I'll give you a few.
  5. @flyingjenny @txflygirl I've added a few pieces since but here's a shot of my small NASA Snoopy collection: http://twitpic.com/r48md
  6. @flyingjenny There are still five more flights and each mission carries 120-140 Silver Snoopys. I wouldn't give up hope yet!
  7. @txflygirl I have a small 'Snoopy at NASA' collection. Plus, I've written a couple of articles: http://bit.ly/4Isj6p & http://bit.ly/8luFBC
  8. @txflygirl Did you know that NASA had one of those Pocket Doll Snoopys in Mission Control during Apollo 10? http://twitpic.com/r3t1o
  9. Happy Thanksgiving! #iamthankfulfor all @collectSPACE'rs , all @SpaceTweeps, all my @NASA friends and all seeing this message!
  10. Arrived at Liberty International (otherwise known as Newark airport). Flight served BBQ turkey for lunch inspired by the holiday.
  11. On the plane... Next stop, New Jersey!
  12. @bnjacobs Forgot one... STS-129 is 8th space shuttle crew to spend Turkey Day in orbit. NASA's list omits STS-44 (caught by a cS reader).
  13. Smooth sailing to Bush Intercontinental and flight is still on time. Security line is long but moving steadily.
  14. And the journey from the Lone Star State to the Garden State begins. Will I make it in time for turkey? Stay tuned...
  15. Even though today is Thanksgiving, Mission Control is still tracking its 'bird' in space: http://bit.ly/5788fw
  16. Prior to STS-129, Thanksgiving was shared in space by STS-61B (1985), 33 (1989), 44 (1991), 80 (1996), 87 (1997), 113 (2002) and 126 (2008).
