  1. @sebarg Leaving it to the caller to .Dispose() resources - especially in a questionable case like attchmts based on file names is silly.
  2. @sebarg Yeah makes sense, but an API should cleanup when it has a the chance and clearly .Send() has that chance.
  3. Duh: People don’t understand that just because water is technically legal, it can still present health risks. http://tinyurl.com/yec4jt3
  4. @JoshStodola SmtpClient isn't IDisposable.
  5. @JoshStodola In this case using() is not a good option because the assignment and send code is scattered across multiple methods.
  6. @JoshStodola Yeah the MESSAGE has to be disposed. Still unintuitive - .Send() should close a file if I provide a filename.
  7. @sebarg ... or at least the streams it uses to send the attachments.
  8. @sebarg Yeah using block will fix this - it's definitely a .Dispose() issue, but it seems lame that .Send() doesn't dispose() the message.
  9. Turns out MailMessages after .Send() need to be EXPLICITLY disposed. Grumble. .Send() should do this automatically after its done.
  10. Oh SmtpClient why do thou hates me so? File attachments stay open after mail has been sent. WTF?
  11. @ShawnWildermuth I wonder though if regular theaters do the 3D? Listings say Avatar 3D but there's no mention of the 3D otherwise.
  12. @robconery What about good waves? (and wind for me?)
  13. So is Avatar showing in 3D in regular theaters or just 'special' places like IMax?
  14. @Ekus See an invalid ID will produce a regular error page which is what the trailing . should do as well.
  15. @Ekus Well the problem with the 404 is that the routing engine hits this before I get a chance to. Not sure if this is fixable w/ routing.
  16. @eugeniocasal /break the build/ It was him: http://twitpic.com/u04dp
  17. Ok whoever the asshole is who is testing his new car alarm tonight in the rain, ought to be strung up on the nearest palm tree! 2hrs nonstop
  18. @Ekus Still not sure what you're talking about. You mean when a URL is fired with a trailing . in the source? Where?
  19. Apparently all that's holding this economy up is sleight for hand - eh, ratface bookie practices a mere criminal would go to jail for.
  20. Treasury official: Deptmt has "extraordinary accounting tools" it can use to give the gov't breathing room. http://tinyurl.com/yjtzflb. WTF?
