  1. @Herostratus Did you try Firefox with LoadRunner 9.5 on Windows7 or XP compatibility mode?
  2. Assembling Christmas tree and starting to feel quite festive!
  3. Have arrived in Burnley for court sitting. Nice to be early for change. No mad sprint through town centre today!
  4. @hotpatooties. Would be interested to hear recommendations for online backup. Am considering starting a business to provide this service.
  5. @steveme I'm pretty sure that LoadRunner doesn't fully support Win7. Just wondered if anybody had made it work (unofficially). ;-)
  6. RT @bbctech: Facebook allows users to control who sees content. http://bit.ly/6yFzbr [good but I'd like to categorise friends geek/nongeek]
  7. Anybody out there got Loadrunner 9.5 working on Windows7/IE8. Click'n'Script OK but HTTP recording not working.
  8. @mtomlins Do you know why LR HTTP recording doesn't work with Windows7? Is it an IE problem or an OS problem? Click 'n' Script works fine.
  9. http://tweetphoto.com/6003811 That lot should keep the home fires burning for a week or two!
  10. Anybody who feels generous should donate to my wife's JustGiving Page - Swimming the Channel (sort of) for Aspire - http://bit.ly/7HAX75
  11. Now getting 22% faster DNS queries after using Google Namebench to work out fastest/closest DNS servers to me. http://bit.ly/4Orr95
  12. RT @henryejones: @richardbishop Interesting DNS tool: http://code.google.com/p/namebench/
  13. @henryejones Thanks for link to namebench. Am retweeting.
  14. @mtomlins I'm sure you know the sort of testers I mean. The web discussion forums are full of them asking dumb questions.
  15. @mtomlins I have seen some testers (esp off-shore) who have no concept of user concurrency, pacing, scenario building or perf monitoring.
  16. @mtomlins you're right about test tools, good analysis app especially can help improve testers. Some testers are beyond help though IMO.
  17. @71notout I have a GoogleWave account but haven't worked out how to share application yet. I'll add that to my list of "research projects".
  18. We used Teamviewer to share apps/desktop on a conference call. Seemed good but can anybody recommend similar products?
  19. Tried out Skype and application sharing software with the other HBOS leavers yesterday. V. Impressed so far. Will be able to help each other
  20. Enjoying first week (not working) a bit too much! Getting through household jobs like a good'un! Back to work for a rest in the New Year!
