  1. @sallypnut Thx. I've listened to The Moth, though not regularly enough. Some of their stories also get put on This American Life.
  2. @sallypnut Yes, it's a great endeavor. I just caught up to last Friday's podcast and it is really good (if sad).
  3. An especially touching StoryCorps episode (though so many are): http://bit.ly/3pgHg3 #fb
  4. @EconTalker Not tired of fin. crisis talks if guest offers larger perspective like Reinhart & Sumner. Variety good tho - e.g. Willingham :)
  5. Ok!! Eagles reverse Bears loss from last year. Gutty win, but that said, I'm underwhelmed by all NFC East teams this year. #fb
  6. Reading very helpful @TheEconomist comparative analysis on Public-section finances (with table): http://j.mp/92RAFy #in
  7. Interesting Econbrowser post (& comments) on 'Factors in local house price declines' across nation: http://j.mp/6vjiV4
  8. Very good NYT Corner Office interview with William D Green of Accenture: 68 Rules? No, Just 3 Are Enough - http://bit.ly/74LLXw #in
  9. @sdholakia Wow, didn't know you had a family connection to 'Great Lodges' book. I've owned it for a number of years.
  10. RT @pkedrosky: More good rare earths & China reading http://bit.ly/260pjb (via @vaidynath)
  11. @BroadStHockey Sadly, a very deserved loss. No team can beat the Sharks when they leave Heatley so open @ net & let Joe T dish good passes.
  12. Sad that #Sharks have a few more hurt players out tonight. Happy to be seeing the #Flyers & hoping my two favorite NHL teams each play well.
  13. OpenBeak install to replace Twitterberry not very clean (I manually deleted old app) but seems to work now. Liked old name better.
  14. Enjoyed meeting Kristian Story (kristianstory.com) & tasting his wines @ The Grapevine last night - nice to learn he has a WG connection.
  15. @vambenepe I think not so many Excel docs. Many folks who gravitate to Excel are likely not savvy re *complex* Word features.
  16. @dhkeller Totally agree with @Fresh_and_Easy flameout in WG (with sublease sign now posted). Would selfishly prefer Zanotto's @ that site.
  17. @dhkeller I'd be willing to gerrymander for Zanotto's :) - though won't believe it until I see doors open.
  18. @CJBrasiel and a tree lighting before Thanksgiving does seem to deserve a Grinch. :)
  19. @mollybwalsh Hooray!!
