  3. Just finished a briefing on plans for DIA and am attending a forum on estimating future supply for Colorado's health care workers.
  4. Just finished a town hall meeting for the seniors in my district to explain 2010 Medicare changes. Now I'm enjoying some great Mexican food.
  5. Attending a forum on long term care and how it factors into the health reform agenda. Very good information from Colorado Health Institute.
  6. Leaving the 6th Annual Veterans Day Observance in Broomfield. It was very moving. Thanks to our veterans and enjoy your special day!
  7. Leaving Mountain Range High where I spoke to a group of students about civic participation.
  8. Attending the Ribbon Cutting for St. Joseph's Hospital Comprehensive Cancer Treatment Center.
  9. Coming home from seeing "This Is It" with Michael Jackson. Incredibly talented human being. What a loss-gone too soon!
  10. Listening to an H1N1 flu presentation by Tri County Health.

  13. Taking a legislative tour with Noble Energy of the Wattenberg Field north of Denver.
  14. Feeling honored about last night- being recognized by the Brain Injury Association of Colo and wishing I could do more for prevention of TBI
  15. Finishing Race for the Cure with about 70000 other people-a painful reminder of how difficult this diagnosis is for so many prople.
  16. Watching the play, A Raisin in the Sun at the Denver Center for Performing Arts.
  17. Walking door to door in Westminster. Talked to a lady whose COBRA is about to end and she has no job yet. She's worried.
  18. Leaving a stakeholders meeting about further legislation for next session to address the waste tire problems in Colorado.
  19. Having pizza at the Original Pizza in Broomfield. Raphael's pizza was rated #1 last year on the Channel 7 Alist.
  20. Leaving my annual eye exam at Front Range Eye Associates in Broomfield. Dr. Murphy and her staff do a great job!
