  1. @pinkjellybaby I think "need" is a bit strong, but it's always a welcome distraction!
  2. @pinkjellybaby Any chance of your usual Friday blogpost today...?
  3. RT @guardian_sport UK snooker championship winner to also get weight in pies http://bit.ly/4UaaJU <-------- what a prize!
  4. @pinkjellybaby "Wazzock" is a spectacularly underused word.
  5. @gabrielmilland Ballsoop?
  6. @pinkjellybaby I read it, I'm just bad about leaving comments when I'm busy at work...
  7. @Blonde_M Shame, given that being stuck in bed for four days is so appealing in almost all other circumstances.
  8. Mariah Carey is high up on the list of people who make my skin crawl. Fortunately, she's basically a laughing stock.
  9. @bluesoup Very philosophical of you! After all, what would the other girls in prison say...
  10. @bluesoup I imagine a spot on her nose is the least of her worries atm...
  11. @nuttycow I don't really, I only read it to enrage myself. George Monbiot and Polly Toynbee are the most annoying journos alives...
  12. @bluesoup Well, let's say they are anti-climate-change-skeptic then. I know what you mean, but didn't have enough characters to be specific!
  13. I find it fairly funny that, despite being massively pro-climate-change, the Guardian has published the doc likely to undermine Copenhagen.
  14. @pinkjellybaby Yes please, thanks.
  15. @Blonde_M Interesting, thanks. Got into a debate with my brothers on Sat, and was woefully unably to do justice to the skeptic arguments.
  16. If I could be bothered, I'd be a very vocal climate-change skeptic. As it is, I'm just going to be a quiet climate-change skeptic.
  17. @pleasedonteatjo Thanks for the detail.
  18. @Blonde_M On the plus side, I somehow avoided joining the group who went on to another bar from 3-5am. So it could be worse.
  19. @Blonde_M Steered clear of those in the end. Opted for white wine interspersed with the odd sambuca instead. Until 3am. Today is a struggle.
  20. Trying to work out how to face drinking for a second night running...think I'll end up on vodka redbulls, evil as they are.
