  1. Elders-you're members of the session (board/body of elders) once a month, you're shepherds every day. (via @Burk_Parsons) // Word.
  2. I just had to take away the privilege of watching the "SpongeBob Sponge Bash" from Zoe. Sad.
  3. Seriously considering doing away with cable TV and internet for a short while, knowing that'd cause a blowup at home. Peace thru chaos.
  4. "Should" be working on my sermon, but am instead sitting with a sleepy Zoë on my lap.
  5. @fredgreco Yep, that's another feature I've been looking forward to.
  6. @fredgreco It hasn't been implemented yet, though.
  7. @fredgreco Saw it this AM in an email they sent (where they also talked about a change in their Undo History policy). Also:http://tr.im/sIgE
  8. Excited to see @Dropbox's upcoming "LAN Sync" feature. No more waiting for local network files to transfer over the internets!
  9. Just got home from another busy day. Picked up Ray Ortlund, Jr's commentary on Isaiah from Lifeway on the way home. Dinner now.
  10. Finally listened (or listening) to #ssyndrome. I think I like it.
  11. For every $25 you give to Commontary, an under-resourced pastor gets a book! http://bit.ly/12iZnS (via @Commontary)
  12. @jakebelder Thanks man. We appreciate that. :-)
  13. @ARStager They will license, but will not ordain to the office of TE (unless under extraordinary circumstances).
  14. @ARStager Right now, studying to be licensed to preach in my presbytery. Trying to discern if vocational ministry is what God has for me.
  15. @ARStager This will only be my third time preaching ever, but I'll be in the pulpit 3 more times before September. (Pastor's on sabbatical.)
  16. @joeholland Yep. I might split it up over 2 sermons, though.
  17. @coffeeman49 It's one of the "Abbey" mugs that Starbucks carried for a few years. I've got 'em in white, blue, green, black, and red. :-)
  18. Sermonizing (with help from John Calvin and J. Alec Motyer).
  19. I would respond to and refute the church membership article @TravisSeitler sent me via Google Reader, but I'm tired. Tomorrow. :-)
  20. @artboulet As I understand the word, yep. Not that every individual congregation in TEC has abandoned the faith, of course.
