  1. @odomlewis Thank you so much. Your words are really encouraging - I'll spread the word! Thank again. #wristpain
  2. @bluestarlounge Thank you! It's really been a good experience from my perspective. #wristpain
  3. @ghs_org Good to know - thanks! #wristpain
  4. #wristpain 5) we're steadily learning more about pain in this region - keep searching until you are satisfied.
  5. #wristpain 3) the fovea sign is really sensitive to a UT split tear or a massive ligament rupture 4) other sources of pain still can exist
  6. #wristpain just a few take homes 1) Ulnar wrist pain is common and can be disabling. 2) treatment can be successful even if chronic
  7. @neelshah can be treated surgically (scope or open) if painful. If not, U can leave it alone without worries. #wristpain
  8. @bartbrandenburg Dank U wel! It's great to hear form you. I lived in Leiden for a year on a Fulbright Scholarship. Tot siens! #wristpain
  9. @ELT7 a good careful exam should be able to show the difference - important for treatment success! #wristpain
  10. @ELT7 it can be, but these are also classic signs of issues with the forearm joint (split tear or ligament rupture) (more) #wristpain
  11. @ELT7 this doesn't sound like entirely LT to me. Sometimes an exam by someone else helps - a fresh set of eyes on the problem #wristpain
  12. @odomlewis Thank you. I agree about Lee and also add Mary from USA Today. We should do this more often for other conditions #wristpain
  13. @SallySF I'm familiar with Steadman Hawkins at Vail - very good reputation, assuming it's the same #wristpain
  14. @LeeAase you type faster than me, Lee. I agree with your thoughts. #wristpain
  15. @odomlewis should still have a good chance #wristpain
  16. @ELT7 with your hand flat on the table, is your pain just distal (toward the fingers) from the ulna (knobby bone of forearm)? #wristpain
  17. @odomlewis perfect - he has a good chance of healing. #wristpain
  18. @ELT7 any imaging (arthrogram, MRI, etc) needs to be correlated with your symptoms and physical exam #wristpain
  19. @ELT7 "tears" of the LT ligament can happen just with age (sorry!) - a positive arthrogram may be misleading (more to come) #wristpain
  20. @odomlewis did the cast extend above the elbow? If he's still painful and he had a short cast, maybe try the longer version #wristpain
