  1. Ploughing through a pile of literature. Fed up with reading definitions of Web 2.0. Wondering if anyone ever really reads all these reports
  2. Grappling with new word, 'fiducial'. Seems to be a sort of gadget-friendly barcode like a Semapedia tag.
  3. Finding out about multi-touch and surface computing. Apparently all these devices are laggy - which increases cognitive load
  4. @GrahamBM You've been sitting there waiting to post that link, haven't you? :-)
  5. In research network meeting. 'Eye-tracking - is that something for the Mac'?
  6. @derekrobertson How did Robert Marley like his Crème fraîche? Altogether now - with jammin, with jammin... #middleclassreggae
  7. @simfin Kids currently sitting in our living room putting together an entry :-)
  8. Maybe it was a bad idea to learn to use Camtasia at the same time as filling in two grant applications. My head is spinning.
  9. Getting to grips with Camtasia. Alone in the house, talking to my laptop.
  10. @mweller My son was upset too when his favourite puffle wandered off after he'd had it for a year or so
  11. RT @kjarrett Looks like a Wordle-killer! RT @noreenstrehlow: Someone's taking Wordle on by adding cloud shapes: http://tagul.com/
  12. Kids variously making butter, making banana lassi and downloading cheats for Professor Layton. Gives me P&Q to work on a PowerPoint.
  13. 'writing for print is like sculpting in stone, whereas writing for a blog is like sculpting in jelly that hasn’t quite set.' John Naughton
  14. I've got a really simple Basic program. I've got a computer. I just can't work out how to put the two together easily...
  15. @lizith Held out for three weeks - daughter had to sit out or wear ill-fitting lost property boots :-(
  16. £20. One hour in town. 1 pair of football boots. Daughter has four more football lessons. Why does school demand I waste time and money?
  17. Just got Snow Leopard. Everything seems exactly the same as before.
  18. 'You can check out any time you like'. Hmm, The Eagles never tried to take something out of the OU's self-service library with my swipe card
  19. @sclater Isn't one of the points of Twitter lists that we can keep spam out of conference discussion if the conference starts trending?
  20. @daveowhite The Open University! (not that I'm biased...)
