  1. QC Weather Flashback: May 31, 1983 was also a cool and rainy end to the month. The high only reached 63 while rain fell throughout the day.
  2. Rainy & Cool: Thursday's high may not reach 60. Nearly an inch of rain is expected. Friday will bring more of the same to the QC.

  4. In addition to rain falling, temperatures dropped about 17 degrees in only 40 minutes as the storm system passed over the QC.
  5. West Davenport picked up a quarter-inch of rain during this afternoon's storm, but other parts of the QC didn't see nearly as much.
  6. The storm was battering Wilton just after 4:30 pm. It is moving northeast and could impact the immediate QC area before 5:30.
  7. Severe Thunderstorm Warning in effect for the Quad Cities until 5:15 PM. Damaging winds and quarter-sized hail are possible.
  8. This morning Bettendorf finally recorded its first measurable rainfall since May 7th. Unfortunately, it was only 1/100th of an inch.
